From Winemaker Ryan Prichard: The Cabernet Sauvignon from the Flambeaux property are always sensational. Not huge, over-voluptuous wines but elegant, restrained and showing a sense of place from the mountains which it originates. 2018 had a long growing season with the damp and cool weather which allowed the fruit ample hang-time to develop a deep and complex profile. We used 40% American Oak on this vintage to add another layer of complexity to the wine and I love how it plays with this beautiful dark red fruit profile. This wine will age gracefully for years to come!
